Actor Allison Janney’s two-tone gown at Baftas 2018 was designed by India-born fashion designer Bibhu Mohapatra. The New York-based couturist has previously dressed former US first lady Michelle Obama, actor Priyanka Chopra and singer Celine Dion, among others.

The silk velvet column gown that Janney, who won the Best Supporting Actress Bafta for her role in I, Tonya, wore had a contrasting ivory cutaway top and interesting sleeves. The figure-hugging number was from the designer’s fall-winter 2018 runway at New York Fashion Week.
