Vijay Nanda says not invited to meeting to pick Amritsar mayor, party refutes claim

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested three men including a Delhi University graduate from West Jyoti Nagar area of Shahdara district on Monday and claimed to have busted a fake call centre racket that duped more than 4,500 people across India by organizing fake lucky draws and offering expensive mobile phones at cheap rates.

According to the police, the accused have been identified as Sanjay Panchal (22), a DU graduate, Nikhil Soni (22) and Kunal (18), both high school pass-out.

“On December 22, 2018, we received information about a fake call centre being run in East Delhi area. Our team had been tracking them and they were not being traced because they frequently changed their location. On Monday, we received specific information about their hideout and all the three were arrested in a raid,” said Rajiv Ranjan, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch).
